This position is located in the Austin, TX office.

Relocation is available in accordance with the firm's policy.

Our team works closely with firm leadership and partners on strategic growth initiatives, consistently demonstrating growth in revenue generation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • 5 years’ experience in business development, marketing, and/or client development

  • Experience in law firm marketing

  • Ability to set and communicate goals, measure accomplishments, and establish professional relationships

  • Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills, with a strong commitment to teamwork

  • Experience generating reports including, but not limited to, demonstrating return on investment for marketing spend

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of, and relationships within the Austin legal community, technology and/or emerging growth companies and venture capital firms

What will your day look like?

In this fast-paced role, you will leverage your business development expertise and knowledge of leading industries and companies within the Austin market. You will lead business development and marketing activities that drive a positive brand recognition and revenue growth for the firm. You will identify and build strategic relationships with high-profile, market-moving organizations, leveraging them to drive branding and business development initiatives on behalf of the office, local practice groups, and individual attorneys. In collaboration with the office managing partner and the broader marketing and business development departments, you will manage the office marketing budget and provide an evaluation of the ROI of each campaign and sponsorship. Your research and analysis will aim to identify market insights and drive branding and business development initiatives on behalf of the office, local practice groups, and individual attorneys. You will also support pitch and proposal activities by providing regional content and market insights. You will serve as a liaison to the firm’s Marketing Communications team for media pitches and press releases aimed at building brand recognition of the firm. Event strategy, content, and effective execution and follow-up management are also among your responsibilities.

This position requires strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize among multiple projects and deliver under pressure. Ideal candidates should possess exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
